I tried to let everything sink in about what happened last night. The truth is, I’m still speechless and dumbfounded about the loss. The Mets have had three of their worst losses in a row, all against teams that it hurts losing to the most. My cell phone nearly blew up last night with all the Yankee fans I know making sure I saw what happened. I saw it alright, and I still can’t believe it. I’ve all but thrown in the towel on this season. I’m going to let the rest of the weekend series unfold, and make a disgruntled statement to start the week that will cover the state of the Mets and the state of my psyche.
