Just throwing some numbers out there for you.

-The Mets are the only team in the Majors with more steals than homers.
-David Wright, since May 20, is posting career norms in almost all his statistical categories (AVG, SLG, OBP, K%), but additionally, he currently has the highest ISO (Slugging minus Average, or extra bases per base hit) of his career this year.
-The Mets as a team have the second-highest “Speed Score” in baseball (according to FanGraphs.com), just behind the Rays.
-Despite their solid pitching, the Mets are middle-of-the-road in almost every category, save for their very poor performance in walks per 9 and strikeout to walk ratio.
-The Mets have the fifth-lowest HR/FB rate in baseball, likely due to Citi Field. They have a near-even groundball to flyball ratio.
