The Mets look to get Johan Santana his first win in three weeks today against the San Diego Padres. Last start, Johan allowed 5 walks and 3 hits to the Friars but still managed to turn in 7 scoreless innings.
The Mets, at 31-27, will also be gunning for their 10th straight win at Citi Field.
The first game today is at 1:10, the second 7:10. It will be Santana vs. Latos and Niese vs. Garland.
Game 1′s lineup:
1. Jose Reyes SS
2. Angel Pagan CF
3. Jason Bay LF
4. Ike Davis 1B
5. David Wright 3B
6. Jeff Francoeur RF
7. Henry Blanco C
8. Alex Cora 2B
9. Johan Santana LHP
It’s kind of like they are trying not to get Johan Santana run support, with 3 below-average players rounding out the bottom of the lineup. (Yes, I still don’t buy Francoeur).

My team is out. So much for Italy this year. Quickest exit ever. I believed that they had a great chance to do well in this years world cup. Maybe in 4 years. Maybe its time to jump on the Argentina bandwagon. Looks like Demichelis has already scored. Go Argentina. To make me feel a little better from that by Italy, I have been listening to some funny jokes.. This one made me laugh really hard: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3j7uSbccSc
