No Way, Jose, but still a win

Despite being out Jose Reyes and Angel Pagan, the Mets won last night, taking advantage of four Marlins errors and winning despite a shaky outing by Mike Pelfrey. The win was necessary, and highlighted by a four-out save by Frankie.

Pelfrey was likely thrown off by the 1.5 hour rain delay, which necessitated him warming up twice.

So tonight, the Mets again are out Reyes and Pagan (both day-to-day), and Jerry decides to pull Bay from the lineup as well, slotting in Carter, and batting Frenchy in the fifth. Seriously, a day off couldn’t wait…?

But I think Johan really needs a good start, and I actually believe in him tonight. I’d love to see 3 of 4 this weekend.

Go Mets!
